"Unexpected rotordynamic behavior in our
supersonic compressor had cost several precious months and over
$100,000 trying to find the cause. With no prior experience
using rotordynamics software, we purchased DyRoBeS and hired Eigen
Technologies for a three-day visit to our Seattle offices. On
the first day our two engineers gained the ability to build, modify
and analyze models of our three-shaft compressor demonstrator.
On the second day, with Dr. Chen's guidance, the engineers had
conclusively identified the cause of the rotordynamic problem.
On the third day, the engineers analyzed dozens of possible solutions
to the problem and determined a suitable fix within stringent
cost and schedule constraints. The tilting-pad bearing
